December 15, 2016

You should have a good time ringing in the New Year, no matter your age. Good thing for kids that the St. Peters Rec-Plex offers a New Year’s Eve Lock-in with so much to do that you can have fun all night long!

Register early to reserve your spot for this fully staffed event for kids ages 8-13. The fun begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, and ends at 7 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Activities will include swimming, diving, ice skating, broomball, basketball and other gym activities, fun games and more!

The Rec-Plex swimming pools include a waterslide, current channel, water play features and diving boards. Everyone will ring in the New Year with a midnight balloon drop. Kids can bring pillows and sleeping bags to sleep during the event.

Advance registration is required. For Rec-Plex members, the event is FREE to GOLD PLUS members and just $25 for Rec-Plex annual members. For non-members, the fee is $50 for St. Peters residents and $60 for the general public.

The New Year’s Eve Lock-in is one of many Rec-Plex classes and programs that are FREE to Rec-Plex GOLD PLUS members. A special for Rec-Plex annual members also allows each member to bring a friend to the New Year’s Lock-in for the low Rec-Plex member rate of $25.

The Finish Line café will have food and drink for purchase during the event.

To register, call 636-939-2386, ext. 1400, or come to the Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Rd., before Dec. 31.

On Dec. 31, late registrations will be accepted until 1 p.m., if space is available, and will be subject to a late charge of $15 per child. No registrations will be taken at the door. Kids must be picked up from the Rec-Plex by 7 a.m. on Jan. 1 to avoid a late pickup fee.
